Gas Technician 3 & 2 Combined
About the Course
The Gas Technician 3 & 2 Combined course incorporates 2 separate programs – Gas Technician 3 and Gas Technician 2. These courses will run consecutively. Upon successful completion of the Gas Technician 3 training program, the student will enter into the Gas Technician 2 training program.
Both the Gas Technician 3 and Gas Technician 2 courses are approved as vocational programs under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005
Format / Length
Full Time: 5 classes per week during the day. Monday – Friday for 17 weeks.
Part Time: 3 classes per week. 2 weeknight classes and 1 weekend day class for 34 weeks.
(Length of Gas Technician 3 plus the length of Gas Technician 2)

TSSA Exams: $450.00
(Cost of Gas Technician 3 plus the cost of Gas Technician 2)
Career Description
A Gas Technician 2 license allows individuals to work independently on natural gas and propane equipment up to 400,000 Btuh. This type of equipment can be found in a number of different applications, including residential, commercial and light industrial.

Admission Requirements
Students must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or be at least 18 years of age and pass a Superintendent approved qualifying test (Wonderlic SLE).
Certification
Successful completion of the Gas Technician 3 course grants TSSA G3 certification exam eligibility. Successful completion of the Gas Technician 2 course grants TSSA G2 certification exam eligibility. The TSSA exam will be held at our location at the end of the training program.
