Available Positions

Location: Halton

Description:
  • Deliver in-class and practical instruction for Gas Technician 3 and 2 certification programs in accordance with TSSA (Technical Standards and Safety Authority) requirements.
  • Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and hands-on training modules.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback, guidance, and support.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and competencies.
  • Ensure all training is conducted with a focus on safety and current industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative staff to maintain program quality and compliance.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Valid Gas Technician 2 or 1 Certificate of Qualification in Ontario (G.2 or G.1).
  • Minimum 5 years of recent, relevant field experience as a licensed Gas Technician.
  • Strong understanding of gas appliance installation, servicing, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Prior teaching or training experience preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with TSSA curriculum and safety codes is a strong asset.

Schedule: Evenings / Weekends
